Welcome to the GameTimeCT Athlete of the Week where we look to honor student-athletes from across Connecticut each week during the high school sports seasons.
Each week, the GameTimeCT staff will select five athletes competing in boys high school sports and five competing in girls sports as finalists. We will then turn the process over to the fans to vote for who they think should win the title of GameTimeCT Athlete of the Week. Voting will begin Tuesday morning and close Thursday night at 11:59 p.m. Winners will be announced each Friday by around noon.
At the State Open, she won the shot put in 40-1.50 and the discus in 135-6. At New Englands, she won the discus with a 145-7 mark.

Set a State Open meet record in the 100 hurdles (14.01). She also placed fourth in the 100 meters (12.21). She also won the 100 hurdles in the SCC meet and placed second in the 100 meter dash. She will be competing in Nationals.

Won the CIAC State Open girls division championship by shooting a 75 at the Black Hall Club. She won by 5 strokes.

Claiming the Crown
Sophomore won CIAC Invitational girls singles championship by defeating top seed and defending champion Lauren Zhang from Darien 4-6, 6-2, 10-8. Orlins avenged her only loss in high school tennis to Zhang in the 2022 semifinals.
