Welcome to the GameTimeCT Athlete of the Week where we look to honor student-athletes from across Connecticut each week during the high school sports seasons.
Each week, the GameTimeCT staff will select five athletes competing in boys high school sports and five competing in girls sports as finalists. We will then turn the process over to the fans to vote for who they think should win the title of GameTimeCT Athlete of the Week. Voting will begin Tuesday morning and close Thursday night at 11:59 p.m. Winners will be announced each Friday by around noon.
The senior claimed the Class S state championship with a time of 16:43, with a 5:24 pace at Wickham Park

The senior had one of the best games in program history. He rushed for 169 yards, five touchdowns and caught five passes for 94 yards and another score. He also was a perfect 6-for-6 on extra points.

Lipinsky had a Cowboy hat trick as Litchfield picked up a Berkshire League win, 6-3 over Housatonic.

Dual threat performance
The junior quarterback did damage with his legs and his arm on Thursday night. He rushed for three touchdowns — 64, 19 and 18 yards — and threw a 30-yard touchdown to put his team ahead for a good in a back-and-forth 36-31 win over Bullard Havens.
